On Saturday evening, June 21, at Bateman Hall, at the annual installation dinner meeting for the incoming Lynwood Rotary Club President, Rajinder (Rajen) Dhaliwal, a good time was had by all in attendance. Attendees enjoyed the company of everyone present, and at the appointed time, heard the outgoing President, Daniel Miller, talk about how he will always cherish his memories of the many activities he was personally involved in during his term of office. Incoming President Raj, talked about the importance of the work of Rotarians throughout the entire world. He cited examples of his personal experience with Rotary clubs in other countries. Raj also addressed the leadership that he will bring to the Lynwood Club in the coming year.

Mention was made of the importance of all the club members to support the fireworks stand June 30 through July 4, to include working the stand, if possible each day. In addition, recruiting youth to work the stand is very important, especially high school and college students. Prior experience with Rotary is not a requirement, and youth 18 years and older are particularly needed.

We are always looking for speakers and programs, so send us your suggestions!
