For the meeting on January 22, 2015  12pm – 1:30pm members and guests heard and observed the expert presentation and training provided by Guadalupe Rodriguez, AHA, BLS Instructor (American Heart Association and Basic Life Support).  Ms. Rodriguez presented a very effective instruction program from Power Point and also showed how to do CPR using a mannequin.  Everyone came away from the instruction  with increased awareness of the need for all of us to be able to respond to medical emergencies before medics can arrive.  The first 10 minutes of immediate response can save lives!
