At the December 11  meeting, Rotary members and guests participated in the annual Lynwood Rotary Christmas meeting. After sharing Christmas greetings and conversations, everyone participated in the gift sharing, including guests. Daniel brought a variety of gift items and encouraged members and guests to take with them all the gift items he provided. A lottery was held for the major gifts brought by Rotary members.

Daniel reported on the Annual Lynwood Candy Cane Christmas Parade last Friday December 5, and the participation of the Rotary Youthact clubs as marching units. Lucy Avalos talked about the design of the Rotary float. Daniel commented about how beautiful it was. At the end of the meeting, the Rotary Board approved the request of Tila and Fernando to donate the beautiful red piñatas from the Rotary float to Roosevelt Elementary School for the school's use.

Greeting were exchanged among everyone to have a Happy and Safe Holidays for Christmas and New Years Day and that everyone was encouraged to come back next year - starting with the Thursday January 8 meeting.
