Announcement of coming Event

At the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, organized by the City of Lynwood Department of Recreation, and held on Sat. April 26, from 11am to 1:30 pm at the Lynwood Park,  Maria Quinonez (Lulu) and Daniel Miller attended.  The Lynwood Rotary Club was mentioned several times in the announcements by Recreation Staff as a sponsor of the event!  The financial support from Rotary helped pay for the gift baskets given out to winners of the easter egg hunt competitions.

At the Easter Egg Hunt event, there was a booth for the annual Relay for Life event, organized by the American Cancer Society.

This year the event will be Sat, June 25 to Sun, June 26, 9  am – 9 am.

Club Secretary, Maria Quinonez (Lulu) will take the lead, as she did last year, in organizing a Lynwood Rotary Team for this 24 hour event.

Last year the Lynwood Club was a major participant in this event, both as to financial contributions and as to participation in the event.

Rotary Club members and friends are encouraged to again participate and to financially support this annual event in Lynwood.
